Thus \Thus\, n. [L. thus, better tus, frankincense. See
{Thurible}.]
The commoner kind of frankincense, or that obtained from the
Norway spruce, the long-leaved pine, and other conifers.
Thus \Thus\ ([th]us), adv. [OE. thus, AS. [eth]us; akin to
OFries. & OS. thus, D. dus, and E. that; cf. OHG. sus. See
{That}.]
