Pasty \Pas"ty\, n.; pl. {Pasties}. [OF. past['e], F. p[^a]t['e].
   See {Paste}, and cf. {Patty}.]
   A pie consisting usually of meat wholly surrounded with a
   crust made of a sheet of paste, and often baked without a
   dish; a meat pie. ``If ye pinch me like a pasty.'' --Shak.
   ``Apple pasties.'' --Dickens.
