Luscious \Lus"cious\, a. [Prob. for lustious, fr. lusty, or
   perh. a corruption of luxurious. Cf. {Lush}, {Lusty}.]
   1. Sweet; delicious; very grateful to the taste; toothsome;
      excessively sweet or rich.
