Cowpox \Cow"pox`\ (-p[o^]ks`), n. (Med.)
   A pustular eruptive disease of the cow, which, when
   communicated to the human system, as by vaccination, protects
   from the smallpox; vaccinia; -- called also {kinepox},
   {cowpock}, and {kinepock}. --Dunglison.
