Irrevocable \Ir*rev"o*ca*ble\, a. [L. irrevocabilis: cf. F.

   Incapable of being recalled or revoked; unchangeable;
   irreversible; unalterable; as, an irrevocable promise or
   decree; irrevocable fate.
