   vb. n. {Instilling}.] [L. instillare, instillatum; pref. in-
   in + stillare to drop, fr. stilla a drop: cf. F. instiller.

   To drop in; to pour in drop by drop; hence, to impart
   gradually; to infuse slowly; to cause to be imbibed.
