Flop \Flop\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Flopped}; p. pr. & vb. n.

   1. To clap or strike, as a bird its wings, a fish its tail,
      etc.; to flap.

   2. To turn suddenly, as something broad and flat. [Colloq.]
