Engrave \En*grave"\, v. t. [Pref. en- + grave a tomb. Cf.
   {Engrave} to carve.]
   To deposit in the grave; to bury. [Obs.] ``Their corses to
   engrave.'' --Spenser.

   {Engraven}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Engraving}.] [Pref. en- + grave
