Disintegration \Dis*in`te*gra"tion\, n.
   (a) The process by which anything is disintegrated; the
       condition of anything which is disintegrated.
       Specifically
   (b) (Geol.) The wearing away or falling to pieces of rocks or
       strata, produced by atmospheric action, frost, ice, etc.
