Depose \De*pose"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Deposed}; p. pr. & vb.
   n. {Deposing}.][FF. d['e]poser, in the sense of L. deponere
   to put down; but from pref. d['e]- (L. de) + poser to place.
