Conversant \Con*vers"ant\, n.
   One who converses with another; a convenser. [R.]

Conversant \Con"ver*sant\, a. [L. conversans, p. pr. of
   conversari: cf. F. conversant.]
   1. Having frequent or customary intercourse; familiary
      associated; intimately acquainted.
