Congregate \Con"gre*gate\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Congregated}; p.
   pr. & vb. n. {Congregating}]
   To collect into an assembly or assemblage; to assemble; to
   bring into one place, or into a united body; to gather
   together; to mass; to compact.
