Bungle \Bun"gle\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Bungled}; p. pr. & vb. n.
   {Bungling}.] [Prob. a diminutive from, akin to bang; cf.
   Prov. G. bungen to beat, bang, OSw. bunga. See {Bang}.]
   To act or work in a clumsy, awkward manner.
