      seas in piracy. [Obs.] --Hakluyt.

   2. Hence, to wander; to ramble; to rauge; to go, move, or
pass without certain direction in any manner, by sailing,
      walking, riding, flying, or otherwise.

good knight so cunningly didst rove. --Spenser.
