   {Prest}) fr. OF. pourprisure, fr. pourprendre: cf. LL.

   Wrongful encroachment upon another's property; esp., any
   encroachment upon, or inclosure of, that which should be
   common or public, as highways, rivers, harbors, forts, etc.
