Pichurim bean \Pich"u*rim bean`\ (Bot.)
   The seed of a Brazilian lauraceous tree ({Nectandra Puchury})
   of a taste and smell between those of nutmeg and of
   sassafras, -- sometimes used medicinally. Called also
   {sassafras nut}.
