   The seeds of flax, from which linseed oil is obtained.
   [Written also {lintseed}.]

   {Linseed cake}, the solid mass or cake which remains when oil
      is expressed from flaxseed.

   {Linseed meal}, linseed cake reduced to powder.

   {Linseed oil}, oil obtained by pressure from flaxseed.
