Froward \Fro"ward\, a. [Fro + -ward. See {Fro}, and cf.
   {Fromward}.]
   Not willing to yield or compIy with what is required or is
   reasonable; perverse; disobedient; peevish; as, a froward
   child.

         A froward man soweth strife.             --Prov. xvi.
