Erucic \E*ru"cic\, a. (Chem.)
   Pertaining to, or derived from, a genus of cruciferous
   Mediterranean herbs ({Eruca} or {Brassica}); as, erucic acid,
   a fatty acid resembling oleic acid, and found in colza oil,
   mustard oil, etc.
