Convulsionist \Con*vul"sion*ist\, n.
   One who has convulsions; esp., one of a body of fanatics in
   France, early in the eighteenth century, who went into
   convulsions under the influence of religious emotion; as, the
   Convulsionists of St. M['e]dard.
