Mona \Mo"na\, n. [CF. Sp. & Pg. mona, fem. of mono a monkey,
   ape.] (Zo["o]l.)
   A small, handsome, long-tailed West American monkey
   ({Cercopithecus mona}). The body is dark olive, with a spot
   of white on the haunches.
