Brachiolaria \Brach`i*o*la"ri*a\, n. pl. [NL., fr. L. brachiolum
   (bracch-), dim. of brachium (bracch-) arm.] (Zo["o]l.)
   A peculiar early larval stage of certain starfishes, having a
   bilateral structure, and swimming by means of bands of
   vibrating cilia.
