Beurr'e \Beur*r['e]"\, n. [F., fr. beurre butter.] (Bot.)
   A beurr['e] (or buttery) pear, one with the meat soft and
   melting; -- used with a distinguishing word; as, Beurr['e]
   d'Anjou; Beurr['e] Clairgeau.
