Archaeolithic \Ar`ch[ae]*o*lith"ic\, a. [Gr. 'archai^os ancient
   + liqiko`s pertaining to a stone.] (Arch[ae]ol.)
   Of or pertaining to the earliest Stone age; -- applied to a
   prehistoric period preceding the Paleolithic age.
